news from the home front

i have been slacking and for that i'm sorry.

florida was so very nice... it may have been the best vacation ever. thank you, sunshine state. and thanks cara and dwayne. you sure know how to show a girl a good time.

so it turns out they didn't kick me out of school after all. also, in an ironic twist of events, the teacher who was threatening this has been put on probation herself. i can't decide if this feels like justice or obligation, but i guess i'm just glad somebody actually listened.
i think this quarter is going to be better in every way. classes seem like they're going to be more like what i'm used to: lots of theory and ideas and paper writing. the tough science is done, bitches.

i kind of feel like i'm almost done with this program. there are 11 weeks until summer, then fall i may or may not go to thailand, winter quarter i'll be in costa rica for sure, spring i do my full-time practicum, then i graduate and take the boards. when broken down like that it is totally manageable.
or mangeable. i mean, a person could eat a plane if it's in small bites...

anybody want to run a half marathon with me in may? i'd love some company.
