explanation of benefits
dear friends and neighbors,
it has recently come to my attention that i am human. and as such, i realize that i am not able to do everything. for most of my life i have tried to anyway, but no more!
many non-essentials are, therefore, being trimmed from my daily life, including-but-not-limited-to concern for this blog. that does not mean i will never update again, but it does, in fact, mean that it has been demoted to one of the last things on my list of priorities. there are simply too many necessary and time-consuming activities that take precedence, and i can not waste any of my scant precious energy feeling bad for not updating my blog right now.
i hope that you understand this position and do not take offense, are not upset, and do not look down on my weakness and limitations or my selfishness in wanting time for other things in life.

I am spending my last days here and Seattle and I have done my best to try to get your phone number as well as Katie's so that maybe I could hook up with you... alas, nobody would respond to my requests. It would have been nice to connect, but maybe next time.
